When to select LVP
- You want the look of wood, but the budget just says no to the price of hardwood. Luxury vinyl plank is a remarkable simulation of the real thing.
- You want hardwood in high-moisture rooms, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements, but cannot have it because wood is damaged by water. This one is completely waterproof.
- You want the look of natural stone, but not the price. Many choose planks because the larger format/fewer seams make it even more realistic.
- You just love the stylish look. We’re seeing it in every room in the house, from the living room to the bedroom and in some high-end homes.
Stylish savings
Just because it is vinyl doesn't mean it's the same thing you might remember from decades ago. Technology has really made it evolve with digital photography that is so clear and accurate you can see every knot, raised grain and swirl. Technology also gives the ability to offer features like embossing to give the floor depth and dimension; you can get it to look hand-scraped, wire-brushed, distressed, antiqued, etc.
With LVP, your home can have any decor from farmhouse, rustic barn, traditional, contemporary, cottage and more. It’s also available in matte or gloss finishes.

LVP benefits include:
- Durability: This is a layered flooring material with a top clear wear layer that makes it resistant to scratches. Spills and stains just wipe up.
- Waterproof: Depending on the core you select; it can offer an even higher level of waterproof and moisture protection. The cores can also make the vinyl thicker.
- Easy to clean: Sweep and mop is all that’s needed.
- Easy installation: DIY-friendly, this can make a good weekend project.
